Situation
I wanted to physically see what music was playing in my living room, in a way that fit the interior decor.
Task
Convert a digital photo frame into an 'Always-on' Spotify display.
Action
I modified an IKEA frame with a screen inside. The software (Vue 3) talks to the Spotify API to show the album art and title of what I'm currently listening to.
Result
A cool piece of 'interior tech' on the wall that brings me joy every day when music is playing.
